This affirmation meditation is for anyone who is on their healing journey after having experienced relationship abuse and trauma or for those who have a pattern of being in unhealthy relationships that leave them feeling broken.
Affirmations are a very good tool to retrain your thought patterns to be more positive and they will change how you feel about yourself. When you feel better you will attract better into your life but our negative thought patterns are stubborn and will find ways to filter in so listening as often as you can be really beneficial to your well-being.
There is a spiral of guilt, shame, and unworthiness as a result of experiencing toxic relationships. Some are so highly manipulative and create a lot of confusion and self-hatred in oneself. It’s bewildering how it happens and the question I hear often is, ‘how did I let this happen’, or ‘why does this keep happening to me”, and ‘what’s wrong with me’.
Just know there is nothing wrong with you. You are in the process of healing and letting go of past hurts. These relationships create a disconnect within, to the point where we may not even recognize who we are. For many, they would say I’ve never truly known who I am and where I fit in and so we need to start the reconnection and rediscovery process.
As alone as you are feeling right, you are never alone. There is a higher source of love that surrounds you at all times.
You cannot heal on your own. I know how hard you have been trying to do it on your own. You need people to help you.
